Probably the embarrassment of losing 4-0 to St Mirren.

Quite frankly, I am not surprised.

When they appointed him, I thought it was possibly the worst decision Celtic ever made.

Who on Earth appoints a manager from a Club that gets relegated from the Premiership, West Brom, the team who lost 3-1 away to 'Pools in the Carling Cup, as the manager for a European club liked Celtic.

I couldn't believe it when they'd appointed him.

And after last night's appalling result, I'm not surprised he's gone.

West Brom are a better side than Celtic.

He made me laugh when talking about his team playing good entertaining football the right way - " the fans were with me right up to when we got relegated" or something to that effect.

His assistant manager was ex-Pools full-back Mark Venus.

Boy could we have done with him in our current side in his prime. Left-back an' all.

Didnt Stracken go to Celtic after getting Southampton relegated? Scotish football is like the Championship anyway.
