I have a sneeky suspision he will, at present IOR are just paying Turner and not a manager, as they would have been paying both if Tubby was upstairs. Turners comments about "new players time to gel" and "the plucky Hartlepool" rubbish is potentially echoed by IOR as we all know he is uncle Kens yes man. Will this allow him more time next season to right his wrongs in Kens eyes.

I was just wanting to know peoples thoughts, I can see it turning into a Boro / southgate affair, keeping blind faith in a tatical moron because he is your mate and says all the right things. (we have a similar thing going on within the team for Richie)

Nor will I. In fact I can't imagine a situation where a decent manager will come to Pools now, given the reputation the Club has for dealing with 'non-yes men'

So I probably won't be getting a season ticket anyway. It's a bit tragic.

Turner must leave the club permanently.
It's no good him going back upstairs, what does he actually do upstairs ?
Apart from maybe interfere in the managers affairs!!
If he's so dedicated to pools then maybe we should give him a Frankie Baggs type of job.
Then he would have to earn his coin.
It's getting ridiculous now.
Surely IOR are going to do something:)

I never thought I would say this but.... I take back all my criticism of Wilson!!!! It's quite clear now why he wanted to leave the club and look elsewhere... and I don't blame him now for doing that!!
I think I would have done exactly the same

I have a REAL problem with Turner remaining at the club, that I would not have with any other person in football. Nobody else would ever have the feeling of security he has, and I resent that to the point I hate the bloke for being here - I can't see past that. I want him gone and down the dole office.

He has a real stranglehold on a position he does not deserve - and what he is doing to this club is criminal to the point that he should be jailed for it!!!!

It all hinges on the sale of the ground, IMO. If IOR get it, I think they would be prepared to go and get a new manager. If not, the ambition will be just staying in League One / top of league two - with Turner in charge.

I don't think I will be getting a new season ticket either. When you buy shoddy goods you can take them back for a refund but with football you are stuck with it. At this point in time I don't feel like going to the final few games I have been totally sickened by the so called fair on offer if this was a racehorse it would have been destroyed long ago for poor returns. sadx sadx

That's a very good point. Can't we sue someone for false representation, or taking money under false pretences or whatever it is?

If Turner is still in charge I won't be renewing, and I'll pick and choose my games.

Didn't think I'd ever say that sadx
