Is a bloody disgrace.

Just been there with the wife and kids and i was shocked at how much dog turd and litter there is on the sand. It will need a fair few quid spent to get it into a state we can be proud of for August and the Tall Ships. Bottles, bags, general litter and the usual flotsam and jetsam. Sell the Vic to IOR and use the money to clean up the sands is what I suggest.

that promenade from the Marina to Seaton is wick with dog shite
There needs to be wardens patrolling that and handing out fines to folks who don't clean up after their dogs

if people don't want to clean up after their dog, then they shouldn't have a dog - simple as that

Three strikes and the dog should be taken off them for rehoming

I've noticed when we've took Skye to the Burn Valley that it's the older 'well to do' people who don't pick up the shite!!!!

What's worse is sometimes it's the one's with big dogs who dont bother, must be to match their ego, leaving huge piles you could trip over if you were'nt careful. What's really galling is if one of the bairns runs in and runs it through every room in the house. Yer looking at 2 hours remedial work............. the chunts!.

There's a bigger mess still over the road, the permanent fooking rubbish tips they like to call 'recycling' centres...permanent dust blowing over the prom and everything engrained with dust and god knows what...the roads are covered in clay and mud ...only in Hartlepool could a prime site be used for crap like this.

On shit on the beach - doesn't the tide wash it away? sctatchinghead I know that isn't the point but the beach can't be that bad surely?

I also haven't noticed any shite on the cycle track / walkway along the coast between seaton and the marina when I've been out running - do all the dogs shit on the grass?

Seaton always looks like it's stuck in the 1970's.

We regularly used to go swimming in the sea at Seaton when we were kids, playing dodge the tammy and the turd and bonus points for spotting a turd in a johnny bag floating past.

It never did us any harm...  bbolt

I normally go running in the dark, there are lights all the way along but I don't recall seeing any shit. I run all the way from the end of station lane behind king cod / hornsey's and all the way to the marina where the flats are and I have never seen any dog shit. When I go out tonight I will go on shit watch and post my findings on here later....

If you happen to see Steve Staunton walking into the sea down there, at least console him with the fact that he's managed 4 points from the last 10 away games, whereas......

I counted three logs of dog shit on the path, none on route to the marina but 3 on the way back so I'm not sure whether they were fresh as there were a few dogs out. One had already been stood in (thankfully not by me), but none of the 3 were white.

I know that 3 logs is 3 too many and there were probably a few more that I didn't notice but it is hardly Dog Shiit Alley is it?

When I do that route on my bike the shite is usually between newburn bridge 7 the marina rather than along seaton front
