I've got a young lad working here who has just asked me if we've where he will find Percy. We don't have anyone called that I replied. Why do you ask?

Well, says he, I've just taken a call from a bloke who wanted the accounts department and when I asked him if it was anyone in particular he wanted to speak to he said yes, Percy Sledger but I can't find anyone called Percy.

Oddly enough,there was a question on The Weakest Link the other night that went:

My uncle told me about an apprentice who he worked with years ago. The gaffer asked him to go to the shop for some fags. "get me 20 Embassy" to which he replied "what if they hav'nt got Embassy?" The gaffer said "if they hav'nt got Embassy, get me anything" the young lad returned with a meat pasty coz they did nt have Embassy, classic!
