Me too - should get round to watching it again a great film.

I also enjoyed 'To Kill A Mockingbird' with Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch - yet another book I read at school

Aye, first time I'd read a book out loud to the class with swearing in it.

I've just done a football coaching course and they showed the clip of the PE lesson on the school field as an example of how not to coach. Absolute classic - Brian Glover should have won an Oscar for that clappp

Colin Welland who played the Teacher, Mr Farthing, was the one who made the famous 'The British are coming speech' at the Oscars, after he won the Oscar for the Best Original Screenplay for Chariots of Fire. Films like Kes should have been winning Oscars long before then.

I'm just about to start watching the football match from it now. clappp
