My mate sent me these - I have 3...but will do 1 at a time.

I am an international player who scored 10 times in all competitions in my native country. Then signed for prem club where i only scored once. I moved to another european club, failed to score but did score for my country. I then moved to another prem club,scored once, then another prem club but failed to score. I am regarded as one of the greatest players, who am I?

I was born in 1962 in Great Britain. I played for
Sunderland in 1981 but the majority of my career was spent at one of
biggest supported clubs in the UK. I made my international debut in 1986
and scored my country's only goal in the 1996 European Championships.

Correct....

In my 21 year career I have been transferred 11 times playing for 9 teams. i have played for a european team and a team in australasia but have mainly played in my native country where I played for the national team three times. I was the first player to score in a new league created in 1992. I am now retired and have left the game. Who am i?
