Great idea by Pools....with a great package!!!! clappp

But one big stumbling block for loads of Pools supporters....it's an auction and the bidding starts at £75!!!! banghead banghead

So that's a huge amount of Poolies going to miss out!!!! sadx

Why couldn't they have done it as a raffle....I'm sure they could have made more money out of it and then it woud have been fair for everyone!!!! sadx banghead

Thats brilliant.
I'm willing to stump up the £75 as long as I can keep all the strips and the match ball

I've also stated that it's a brilliant idea and a brilliant package....but with just the one flaw....it's an auction!!!! banghead banghead banghead

So basically it's gonna be people with plenty of spare money who are gonna be playing on the Victoria Ground!!!! banghead banghead banghead

Here's an idea....make one Team the Auction team....and the other the Raffle Rabble....

Toffs v Scruffs!!!! :coool: :coool: :coool:

So is it the top 22 bids that play or a bid for an individual shirt? Is there going to be something on the site to show what the bids are sctatchinghead

A long way to go, I think one or two people will be checking their piggy banks and running round the block a couple of times...

You get to play on the Vic, a full kit, a meal, HUFC gift and a full cardiac care package. A bargain unless the bidding goes mad.

I might have a go of that, I can think of worse places to die of a heart attack.

over chargin fans again? Not like pools. Maybe i.m too competitive and want to win every game of football match i play but why would you just wanna play a match with 10 other people on your team who may well be awful, it would ruin the experience if your team was shit. For 2.50 every thursday i.ll give any off here the chance to play football at the headland gym, kick me up in the air, try and score past billingham poolie and finally try and get the ball off trapper. Much better deal and a bargain too

Obviously it would be but this way is probably a lot easier and better financially than a raffle so I can see why the club did it like this.

what if no one wants to go in goal? I certainly wouldn wanna pay all that money to stand and do fuck all for 2 hours. I can just picture a playground style free for all. Everyone chasing the ball and wanting to score

I can't see how it's easier than running a raffle....get people selling tickets....put them in a large hat and then draw 22 tickets out!!!! sctatchinghead confised

And I suppose we'll see if it's better financially when the auction finishes and we get a run-down of ALL Bids!!!! :coool:

Both goalkeeper positions now gone so someone is playing in goal!
