You would have thought he'd have checked the timetable before going to the station.

Is it different for a councillor, most people know everything on Hartlepool train station is closed on a Sunday.

Did he not consider going into Lloyds in the family area and eating /having drink/using toilet.

He said: "I had to wait until 2pm for the local train to take me to Sunderland from 12.30pm. I thought 'what are we going to do for an hour and a half?'

Which means he must have found out some how he had an hour and half wait.
