That's violent conduct, that's a 3 match ban, yet FA say no action as referee saw it. If he did then he should be taken off any referee list

BOTTLED!!

FA bottled this big style, england vice captain, stevie g, too much negative press around the england team lately they didnt wanna punish there vice captain with a 3 game ban and the bad press that would come with it.

As for the ref, it's his first game and he fucked up, anfield crowd, liverpool captain, obviously didnt dare send him off, if it was brown on gerrard he would have went.

Not buying that like. Stuff like that happens in every single game. You'd be looking at 4 or 5 sendings off in every game.

I love Browny as he's a Poolie, but he was kicking lumps out of everyone he came into contact with last night.

actually, having watched that from a different angle, it is an elbow. No doubt about it.

Can't really blame the ref though.

Lets not forget the 2 finger gesture only last week as well. referee saw that as well and deemed not a 2nd yellow, spot on yubep. FA are bottling it.

Jish don't care what Brown did previously in the game, Gerrard's attack ,YES ATTACK was premeditated he knew exactly what he was doing. He didn't even have the bottle to do it face to face with Brown.

I've just said it was an elbow. I'm agreeing with you.

Yubep has previously stated that he hates Gerrard and i'm assuming you do too which would explain those posts.

He's been a lucky bloke to get off with both things.

My post was being done at about same time as your saying it was a card.

No I rate Gerrard as the best English midfielder we got. The fact is regardless of what I think of him that was a red card. If any Pools player had done the same I would still be saying he should have been sent or dealt with under retrospective action.

Yeah, you're right.

If it was a Pools player though, i'd cringe at the offence but i'd be delighted they had got away with it. I'm a sod like that!

If they got away with then I'd be over the moon. As I say play hard, play fair, if play dirty..DON't get caught.

I just dont buy into the whole stevie g love in that people go on about.

He dives, a lot, yet cos it's stevie g, it gets ignored.

As Fet Bob points out, 2 finger gesture last week, now this, both overlooked.

Adabayor got done for a stamp after a game, huth did for an elbow, ferdinand did for an elbow, all were on the same level as gerrards.

I genuinly believe the fa sat down, looked at this and thought we can not ban this guy cos of who he is.

add john terry's display throughout last night's game and for about five minutes after the whistle to gerrard's petulance because things aren't going right for the red shite, and you see two prime examples of why we shouldn't make millionaire icons out of scallies and thugs just because they haven't got the aptitude for anything but kicking a ball and shouting.

gerrard is a spoilt illiterate wanker and john terry is a narcissistic beady eyed thug who thinks his wage allows him to bang anyone he wants.

and anyone who holds banners up saying 'we love you JT' is a c***
