I'm surprised Radio Tees hasn't done the one about the chicken crossing the road.

AKA Radio Local, the epitome of parochial radio, based on the theory that a mysterious point exists midway between their studio, the Riverside and Brownlee's abode, a converted Ayresome Park urinal rebuilt on a roundabout near the ground... radiating from this point, you become less and less important to their world the further you are away from it. ..... like ripples from a stone thrown in a pond. sadx

Too right Snowy. clappp
And of course they wouldn't like to be top of the Championship like their Geordie neighbours up the road. It's a wonder they're not taking the piss out of us and Darlo. I wsih we'd let them go bust in 86. banghead

Just a thought, but why would any fan of a club apparently walking away with their division want to nail their season ticket to the gate....? They can't even get the plot right.

ony arsenal and man utd have had more fans at their home league games this season than the mags.

also averaging over 42k per game, more than chelsea, villa, spurs, everton, etc, despite a load of them being televised.

they havent lost a legaue game at home all season.

not exactly struggling are they ?

chelsea villa spurs everton grounds dont hold more than 42k sctatchinghead

Maybe it was intended to provoke a bit of interest ahead of the derby game on Saturday?

Obviously, but that's the sort of banal idea of humour you'd expect from Tees, the twee old hands and the 'Meeja Srudies' local radio bright eyed hopefuls going through the motions they know anything about footy and at the same time toeing the boro-tastic party line ...it's all a bit tedious and tiresome now, but still, it entertains the dim end of the listening audience, oh dear.
