As I'm visiting friends in Bolton, I'm thinking off popping down to Gigg Lane tonight. Only about 30 minutes away.

Should see plenty of goals from the home side rolfl rolfl .

I can see what type of football we've left behind.

Might even go in the away end have a listen to the moaning , should make for a more enjoyable night. bbolt , mind you will probably have walk about 100 yards to be near anyone in there that end tonight.

Then give a match report on the away teams unofficial site.

I've had 2 brilliant nights sitting in the White Elephant arena. Both times I was in the away end, once watching Rochdale romp to a 5-0 win. Even joined in with a few "Up the Dales". The other time was when Stockport visited and Tubby was the manager. They won as well and I was reminicing singing along to "Chrissy Turners blue and white army". Funny, I haven't heard that sung for quite a while now.
Only one thing better than seeing the loids get beat and that's seeing pools win!

Dont think Stockport won at Darlo when Tubby was manager. You sure about that?

if its any comfort think they had 11 points from 23 games when tubby was sacked after a 6-0 defeat off macclesfield.

despite being miles adrift they actually stayed up, as they couldnt stop winning once tubby left.

With that sort of reputation there is only one club in the football league who would give him a job. Hmmm sctatchinghead

I can only say a few things after watching that game.

1. It was dire and if that's the standard of football in League 2 I pray to god we don't go down and I have watch it week in week out.

2. If that's the standard and we do go down then the title is all but ours.Nailed on FACT

Really poor game, worse I've seen in many a year probably worse than our pre 23 match unbeaten run Andy Bishop is a spent force, now he was coming back from some sort of injury , but compared to what I remember of him, way past it.

Bury's forward line at time so immobile Nelson and Collins (from last season would have looked world beaters). In fact we could put Macphail and Strodder up against them tonight and kept a clean sheet.

The standard of that league is woeful this season Bournemouth are second with a squad of about 15 players and pensioner up front, they regularly don't fill the bench.

I think the four who come up without investment will, really, really struggle next season. Look at Bury last night 3rd top- 2,100 and couldn't beat the Loids.
