Having a last throw of the dice to stave off administration.

They've sacked their Assistant manager (Paul Brush) with the chairman being quoted as saying he won't lose out financially.

Position they allegedly in, financially it may well be.

Seems funny situation sacking the assistant manager and leaving manager in place, could mean Tilson in control of team on own.

The so called cut off date for having points deducted this season is only a fortnight away (Thursday 24th) and if they're in a relegation position at end of this season then aren't the points deducted next season.

Only deducted this season if they manage to avoid relegation, but points not took off until last match of season to see if they then relegated.

So a last throw of the dice to save money and avoid relegation before entering administration once this season finished. So still in League 1 next season but on minus 10 points, or enough money found and saved by sacking Brush to reach that stage,

The way I read that statement Mr Bob, there was one thing that shone through.

'A more positive view on what's right for the club.'

Means he's opened his mouth, been told to shut up and won't.
