What I heard on the Radio the other day was disgusting. People accusing Bridge of being a bottler, and walking out on his country. That couldn't be further from the truth. Bridge has done the decent thing and given us a better chance of winning the World Cup by keeping the dressing room harmony.

Imagine he went, and Terry got the winning goal in the final. Bridge is sat on the bench whilst the rest of the squad are licking JT's balls and kissing his boots?

Bridge is the only one to come out of this with any credit whatsoever.

Agreed, unlike John Terry, Wayne Bridge is putting the England football team before himself.

John Terry wouldn't put anything before himself. He's a horrible little scroat.

I keep wondering what the state of mind of the other England players on all of this is and hope it isnt going to effect the way they play in the world cup. Wayne Bridge was apparantly quite a popular player within the England Squad so even though hes trying to stop their being a divide in the dressing room he could cause an even bigger one by ommiting himself from the squad as the players will feel even more bitter towards Terry now.

I think come the world cup though things will change and Wayne Bridge will realise hes acted a bit to hastily and quickly be on the phone to Fabio.

As much as I take Bridge's side on this, I still believe we have better options at left back. Warnock, Gibbs and even Lescott are able to play there. Gareth Barry also has experience of playing there in his younger days.

Yeah, ive watched Gibbs play a couple of times he looks like hes going to be a really good player dont know if hes ready for this years world cup but Lescott is a good shout to go in at left back if cashlys hasnt recovered from his broken ankle
