How come when you post your Smileys don't work????

Most of the time I'm posting from my phone i.e at work etc and for some reason I can't post smileys from my phone, that's why I use these :)
Foook knows why but I've just got up and there's a crack in my shower cubicle.
What with that and the weather :):):):):)

If he types the word grin in between these :: then it will display as a smiley.

Yeah.. All smilies on the bunker are between the "::::" prefix
