Sex Education At School!!!!

Over the last 20 or so years there has been more and more Sex Education in Schools and still it gets debated for even more at even younger ages....(yes I have been watching Question Time)....but....

How come 'Teenage Pregnancies' still keep going up and up????

So is it a good thing or should it be left to the parents????

Or is the Internet to blame????

BTW....I went to Martyrs and I cannot remember any sex education been taught to me!!!! confised

I think the closest I got was in R.E. with Mrs.Krancioch and all's that boiled down to was the evils of using contraception and abortion* and this was about 1986/87/88!!!! :shock:

The very earliest that they should be teaching them anything at all about stuff like this is when they get to comprehensive, i.e. 11+.

Any earlier than that isn't just wrong it's also pervy.

R.E should be banned from schools imo, and replaced with something like Sociology or Social Education which would include "Sex Education."

They shouldn't be foooking stupid in the first place.
So, if they find out they are pregnant after 10 weeks then yes, make them have it.
Then the kid can go to some poor couple who cant have kids.
Its only 9 months out of their lives for fooks sake.
Mind, they should then be ordered to have the coil or some other form of contraception.
If they refuse then steralise them.

I think it's because it's more acceptable for young'uns to have sex these days....what with schools giving out protection, clinics giving out the morning after pill to youngsters etc etc....and it's wrong....very wrong!!!! :evil:

The sex education 'problem' apparently in this case, is that the faith schools are willing to teach it, but not certain aspects of it, i.e promoting homosexual relationships on par with other relationships for one. While the Cathiolic church seems to be getting highlighted, there are other faithswho might kick off even more.
Me, make them all teach the mechanics of it and stop getting into the relationships part.
