I would rather Turner be allowed to be a league 1 manager and continue trying to build towards something, than be in league 2 and see the team ripped apart.

There are some fooking good players in our squad, REALLY good players that would jump ship if we were relegated.

If Turner has the scope to bring in 2 or 3 more players with quality like Gamble, Austin, Flinders etc then we will have a truly exciting squad

But hypothetically speaking (obviously  ) would it be worth having good players if the manager held us back from being at the other end of the table?

who would do a better job over a full season....

Phil Brown in charge of Man Utd.....or....Alex Ferguson in charge of Hull?

There should only be one answer

BUT CT's signings on the whole are not great are they, for every Gamble there is a Behan!

no you are right, but our squad next season if we are in league 1 will be a hell of a lot better than if we are in league 2.

Im really not so sure about that. I don tthink we have that many players who would be scouted. Gamble possibly but he will be under contract. Flinders has been iffy lately. Liddle and Collins have had good seasons but I cant see them playing above league 1. Austin is the dogs bolocks obviously and may get offers (but may be under contract). I dont think our attendances will be lower in league 2 if we got rid of Turner. The optimism of getting a new manager and the likelihood of winning more games would attract a lot of fans to get season tickets. Would our attendances be much lower right now if we were in league 2??

I would sooner see us in league 2 without Turner than league 1 with him in charge. I would certainly be more optimistic about the next season.

I'd rather be in league 1 with Scott, Busby, Horner, Mickey Mouse, Turner, Donald Duck or Snow fookin White in charge than get relegated, however hypothetical the question is.

Probably not

You probably know what I mean like. I probably wont be any less optimistic about the forthcoming season if we were in league 2 with a decent manager in charge. Another season with CT in league 1 is likely to see us in yet another relegation scrap isnt it.
