With Gamble playing it gives Sweeny a chance to attack more, which he is more affective at. Their two games complement eachother!

I knocked Sweeney earlier in the season, saying he didn't deserve his place at the time.

Since the arrival of Gamble he has steadily improved (IMHO) game after game, he is now playing in the position he was under Cooper in 2003/04 and 2004/05. And we all know how important he was in them 2 seasons.

The old Sweeney is back.

Well done Tony.

Keep it going.

Totally agree. Since Gamble has come in Sweens doesnt need to worry about 'babysitting' his centre midfeild partner and insted can now concentrate on getting forward.

He owes us it.
He has been pap for a long time and is very lucky to be still getting his place in the team.
Lets hope he keeps up his recent performances.
