I know we're not supposed top talk about the premiershit or England (aprat when they're involved in a tournament) on here but the form this lad is in only bodes well for the World Cup... I thought he might've been an outside bet for the captaincy instead of that drug taking always injured (esp when theres an England Friendly in the offing) ferdinand..

Lets hope no big centre rarf stamps on his foot again..

I hope he gets sent off 5 minutes into the first game for farting into his hand and releasing it in the refs face!

And Terry goes 5 minutes later for sticking his finger down his arse crack and wiping it under the refs nose!

I disconcur with Mumtaz and Mr Ripper and agree with MJ. As we all keep saying. :wink:

But I'm not justifying my view because no-one has yet explained to me why they believe I should support the English Football team just because I was born in England.

I hope they are knocked out first round.
I cant help the way I feel.
Maybe its because there are no pools players in the squad.
Also maybe its because we see so called football fans with their new shirt purchased from sports direct bragging that they have been a football supporter all their life when in reality the nearest they have been to the vic has been when they have missed the turning on their way to morrisons for their 2for1's.

Its probably a combination of both.

I'm half french, I have no national pride....but I want England to win every game they play.
Rooney being in form is good news, but he'll probably get injured before the world cup, in fact you can guarantee he will, cos its just our luck.

Why wont we.
I still wont care.
Why are our lives suddenly going to dramatically improve if we win the world cup.
Now if my employer promised me a substantial wage rise then yes, there's the dangle of the carrot.
Otherwise I hope we fail, and as soon as possible.
Then I can get on with watching the rest of the competition without lots of idiotic men and women, consumed by Stella, worshipping in a bubble of hysteria players who's only interest is waiting for the next ferrari model to be revealed and shagging someone elses bird.
