I'll save the clappp until the signing proves to be correct.

The other alternative way of thinking is, and I being devil's advocate here .....................................................

IOR have given CT a last throw of the dice.

Just a thought.

Well thats fair enough, but something was needed to be done, and its been done.

This lad signed for sunderland, thought he was getting called up to the full Irish squad and was chased by Hull who were desperate to sign him..

He MUST have something. clappp

Hopefully it will proved to be an inspired signing although it will be an even more damning indictment on Turner if we still look shit and lose lots of games. He has had backing which no other Pools boss has EVER had. Being near the bottom of the table isnt good enough is it.

he'd better have, or else it has to be the end of the line for Tubby
He can't get any more decisions wrong, or any more signings wrong
He has done everything wrong since October, so he can hardly complain that we are after his blood..............
the fans are demanding a win - the pressure is on... the team and Tubby have to deliver TONIGHT or that is it - nowhere left for him to hide

Tell me something I don't know. I actually put the original posting up saying he has signed.

My point is that IOR MAY have given more funds for this signing but are saying it's the last available.

That this signing (15th of the season) is the last chance CT has to prove he can get it correct and save us from going down.

Yes you can sign him but maybe with an addendum that if it fails over a certain number of games, he may well be looking for a new job.

That's my point. As I said just a thought. But surely IOR know they can't keep "throwing" money at CT and have us in bottom 4 and possible relegation.

Hodcroft may well be friends with CT but he doesn't run IOR, he runs Pools.

Could Berge Gerdt Larsen actually be putting some pressure from above on, is the point I was saying maybe a possiblity

the fact he is on 8 grand a week ( kevin kyle ) at sunderland doesnt make him a good player. the fact he scored goals in ireland ( deniis behan ) doesnt either.
behan didnt score many goals though. We were told he was shite and he is.

This signing has come at the right time as ct new that he was losing monkhouse at some point due to yellow cards and this lad can play on the left and later may play upfront

I would always play him upfront and get freddy on the left when Monkhouse is suspended

They are judging a player on Premiership appearances, Wendies fans thought Gordon Watson was shite.

Plus a lot of Sunderland fans are fookings nuggets.

Let's see how he does for us before making any pre conceived judgements based on what on other people have said on message boards or how much he earns. Good luck to the lad, I for one am praying he's good because we fooking need him to be  If he scores 5 in 10 like Kyle did we might just get the points to stay up, like we did in the time Kyle was here last season.

Agreeing with chip,

I've never seen the bloke play before and am not going to base my expectations on him being bought for a million quid, being on 8k a week and scoring goals in Ireland.

Saying that, he must have something about him. Hopefully he can do a job for us and stick the ball in the net.

Good luck to him rolf

I read the spiel abut him, and the one thing that jumped out at me was that he can play wide-midfield. I'm 95% sure he'll be up-front - but there is just something in the back of my mind...

What ever the team, I hope we put in a performance - but most of all, we need 3 points.

Yeah very true they are nuggets, one on the other hand goes to most the reserve games thinks he will be a good singing very fast and gets in to good positions.

Statistically speaking there is a very high percentage chance that he is going to be shyte given that Turner has signed about 25 players over the last 12 months and about 4 have proved to be any good. Hopefully he can be one of the minority.

Kevin Kyle scored a few goals, something our current strikers can't seem to understand the mechanics of.

Only because he had the silky skills of Matty Robson providing such immense service.

Our strikers, including the new one, still can't score.

Just as well the midfield got 4 tonight.
