In case anyone who knows us wonders why we may be looking exceptionally smart tomorrow (today), it's because we will be heading straight over to the Historic Quay for my Nieces wedding reception, having missed the service on the Trincomalee, as it kicks of at 4:30.

Think they forgot to turn up cos I was stood at that end of the Terrace and there was nothing doing. Not that they had owt to sing about anyway.

I couldn't hear anything either................there was also nothing coming out of the town end.
I'm afraid the atmosphere has been completely drained from the ground but when we have a chairman who appears to be more interested in IOR's image in the oil producing world than keeping us in league one, and a "manager" who is rapidly taking us out of league one, is it surprising.

they are like

but it seems to me that the majority of pools fans dont want this section, lets face it it wasn't very well attended [there cant have been more than 6 from the bunker there, if I'm mistaken my apologies], and we kinda gave up after being told to sit down if were being truthful...

"THEY"???

FFS.....

Yes, "THEY". What's the problem? I wasn't stood / sat WITH the singing section and neither were the people I go with.

We give as much backing to the side as anyone else without the need to partake in a singing section.

There is no atmosphere at the Vic end of. Hasn't been for ages now. The only part of the ground that is capable of generating any noise is The Rink End. If we were in there then I am sure there would be a lot more atmosphere generated.

Yesterdays singing section didn't work, and there maybe reason for that I am unaware of...but the build up on here and on the official site led to expectations otherwise.

Sorry for stating my opinion...silly me, I thought this was an internet message board where you can state your own thoughts.

The problem was that your use of 'they' implied that it was some sort of separate entity, that you didn't want to be part of, that was going to be the 'singing section', and not just Pools fans trying to help create a better atmosphere.

OK, so I admit the wording I used was poor. I wasn't trying to create a them/us situation at all. If that's how it came across then sorry.

Any attempt at improving the atmosphere at home is to be applauded, and as I said, yesterday may have been for reasons I am not aware of.

The best way to start improving the atmosphere is by those on the green bit kicking the ball around to actually give us something to shout about....

Sorry to hear that you are retired from trying to improve things Elvis. I don't know you personally but I do know that there can't be many that care more than you do.

There is already a them/us divide between the club and the fans. The last thing we need is to create such a divide between the supporters I guess.

I don't see what all the fuss is over Aberdeen's post.
I sit in the CK, so I refer to them in the Town End and to them in the Mill House. If I said us in the Town End or us in the Mill House then surely I would be giving the impression that I was a part of either of those sections.
We are all Pools supporters but we are not all Townenders.........hence the use of the word they.

There is an underlying problem here............there are some people who are prepared to have a go at fellow Poolies but are not prepared to have a go at the real culprit(s).

I am with you on this Aberdeen.............you have said or done anything to apologise for. It is quite obvious to me where your loyalty lies.

Look the atmosphere problem is not the fault of the fans............we have proved time and time again what turns us on, or makes us turn up.

There is an attitude at HUFC which is slowly killing our club....yes OUR CLUB..........and until the source of the problem is addressed and repaired, it will only get worse.
