There's some shite gets posted on here by people who know fuck all and you would think that if they went to footy matches then they would have a bit of a clue.

I ain't going to slate individual posters or players for that matter. I have done the latter in private with grown-ups and friends - some of you may have them, some may not.

An optimistic overview of the game would lead to the fact that

(1) The ref was a cock
(2) The ref was a cock
(3) They were better than us
(4) A couple of players didn't play very well
(5) They cleared the ball of the line twice
(6) Their penalty was dodge
(7) There was only one player at fault for their second not the the three on the line, trying in vain to keep it out.
(8) We could have more luck, we didn't.
(9) They are a good team and they haven't been beaten since 2nd January.
(10) We had more chances than them and more of the ball but couldn't get through
(11) We are not a good 'team' and we haven't won since 2nd January.
(12) I didn't fully agree with one of the forwards in the starting line up
(13) I didn't fully agree with the first or second substitutions for a difference of opinions in tactics when chasing a game.
(14) The referee was a cock.

I'm looking forward to tuesday night.

and the first three fixtures in March.

I do however reserve to right to change my opinion at any time.

You say people dont have a clue and then say the penalty "was dodge"

Take a look at yourself.

dodge from 100+yards away in the town end - my impression was that it was dodge

my impression will always be that a penalty given so swiftly is dodge - have we hsad a penner at home this season?

If when i view the highlights and see something different then i will change my opinion but until now in my eyes it is dodge.

I am certainly not taking any other fuckers word for it, except elvis's or chip's as i trust them

Why the need to put someone down because they are not so fookin' negative?
Good post katcha.

We'll win on Tuesday, I dont care about keeping Turner in a job for an extra couple weeks, I care about getting 3 points.

Couldnt care less if he is positive. Anyone posting simply to say that other people talk shit and dont know anything after every single game gets rather boring and serves no purpose.

Point (3) - They were better than us
Point (10) - We had more chances than them and more of the ball but couldnt get through.

Bit of a contradiction there.

Nice and childish fellas. Keep it up. Its like being in a feckin nursery.

Someone expresses a contrary opinion and the thread resorts to name-calling.

The Ref was shite (totally out of his depth) but if that penalty had not been given for us we'd have been going mad, a nailed on pen!

Huddersfield beat us in first gear, we simply are not good enough and that is why we are fifth bottom.

For some inexplicable reason I still fancy going to Milwall if you change your mind. I think it's because I fancy storming the home end more than watching the footie. Even Fetish Bob doesn't want to go though so doesn't look like I'm going.

chip n elvis thing - Said it before - sarcasm, only the great are good at it my friend. As for not being missed - - ffs this is where you need to 'take a look at yourself'

I have seen the penalty on tv since and it's still a little dodgy in my eyes, a persistant attacker made the most of the situation. It wouldn't have surprised me if we didn't get that penalty as we have had no change at all from the refs this season. I counted at least two we could have had in different circumstances for handball and a foul on sweeney - i never saw the hartley laid prone thing as i was having a piss.

They were better than us despite us having more of the ball and chances as they nullified our chances and played to their strengths which seemingly was letting us have more of the ball!

Other than that roll on Tuesday.

I do however reserve to right to change my opinion at any time.

Tuesday night will certainly be a tense affair. Having seen us yesterday I firmly believe that we can beat Carlisle comfortably. We DID create chances yesterday and, as I have stated elsewhere, genuinely feel luck deserted us just when we needed it in front of goal with 2/3 chances being cleared off the line.

One thing I am absolutely sure of however is that if we lose to Carlisle on Tuesday, or even draw, then we will go down. Simple as. If that does happen then Turner, as a manager anyway, will surely be history. There is no way a sensible man, which Hodcroft is, despite all evidence to the contrary this season, can consider his position anything other than untenable if we are relegated.

I'm happy to drive there and back. Fetish Bob is saying he isn't going at the moment but will change his mind if I send him enough texts through the week.

think the most worrying thing about it was flinders and one of his defenders yet again having communication problems.

it was a nothing ball that one of them HAS to take ownership of and deal with. it seems to be happening every game now. wtf is going on ??????????????????

I raised the issue after the Leeds match and was accused by some of negativity!!

I can't remember a defence and keeper having such problems with communication, and it's costing us goals.

How easy is it to drill into them "put a f-king name on it!"...? they're either playing without leadership, or suffering awful nerves when they get on the pitch, which is equally a problem of leadership.

The defence at the minute is a mirror image of last season with Budtz or the hologram in goal. The defence have lost confidence in the keeper (and maybe vice versa) and as a result communication problems arise and we concede soft goals.

Ideally we would have a back up keeper to come in and take the heat off Flinders but Turner hasnt addressed this.

Yep, Sky Plussed it so have watched the incident a few times over. Nailed on penalty even though the forward elaborated his fall to catch the ref's attention.
