Now I'm not having a go or a dig at anybody but can someone please explain to me why the words 'The town's club' is not on the club badge anymore and replaced with just '1908' I may have missed why it was done so just asking again on here!

I prefer the 1908 to be honest, I always thought 'The Towns Club' was a bit naff.

The badge was redesigned for centenary season and they've just stuck with that.

Didn't the centenary badge just have 'a century united' on it??

Somebody on here said Pools was still "the town's club" the other, but it's been missing from the logo for a good three or so seasons. I guess Uncle Ken sees it has HIS club, not anyone else's. Well, it is HIS club, isn't it? So he can do what ever he wants, and usually does.

ITo be factual the logo should read "The town's ground".

Well, I always thought it's because not all 'Pools fans live in the town itself, so I suppose it's not just the town's Club anymore, because people have had to move across the country and in some cases across the world for work etc.

That would really confuse the tossers you see in town wearing their Toon and Manure tops.

I was actually under the impression that when IOR purchase the Vic it is going rise up out of the ground with giant robotic legs and walk off into the North Sea, becoming an Oil Rig off Aberdeen revealing Hodcroft’s evil plan.

The land where the ground was will be used for Hodcroft's layer where he'll sit most days stroking a cat whilst wearing an eye patch often breaking out into villainous laughter.

That's why the badge changed. They'll be a few smug councillors when it happens.

If you get a turtle's head in China, do the locals line up to eat it?

The whole turtle yes, not just the head. You can buy them alive in the supermarket.

Mind if the whole turtle comes out, you're in real trouble anyway...
