1697, still more recent than your last league title

Seriously though, you do enough for 90 minutes, then for the added on 5 minutes, nearly 3 minutes later they score after a soft free kick is given. You lot would be fuming if it had happened to you as well.

Of course we would, I feel for some Darlo fans, but it's outweighed by the satisfaction felt against others.

This one sticks in my mind

Didn't Peter Billing sit behind the goal rather then leave the pitch when he got sent off?

Oh, it's happened to us many, many times Dave.

I listened to the match and it sounded like Darlo were under the cosh for the last ten minutes?

A points a point . Shocking crowd on the back of a win though.

Under the cosh? Maybe a bit yeh but they were shite, the only other time they got a shot on target it took a massive deflection and was a great save. It was one of them days where every little hint of a foul on them was given, yet our lot were getting kicked in the head & shoved all over & there was nothing much given. The only plus is we look like picking up a few more points now, the team is more solid although a bit lightweight outside of the 1st 11. We will probably go down but at least we have a basis for a reasonable team for next year.

As for the crowd, even when we were getting 5/5500 when Hodgy came back to keep us up, the crowds for midweek games used to drop to around the 4000 mark. We were probably missing around 300 home fans from saturday as Rotherham brought around 200 more than Lincoln.

There was quite a few woeful crowds last night even at the clubs nearer the top. 2100 at Bury & 2600 at Rotherham

Our crowds would be just as shite if we were in the Loids position so I don't really think that's a stick we can really beat them with. Low crowds will be common everywhere with all the Saturday/Tuesday football to catch up fixtures. It's still freezing as well.

Mansfield did a promotion where you could pay what you wanted to get in. I wouldnt use their crowd as a good example.

they'll never go back to Darlo in its current form, there's too much bad blood between that club and the local businesses and townsfolk
Chester is in the same boat - in fact Chester fans and the Football Supporters Trust are begging the FA to execute Chester in its present form to finally get rid of its bent owners - who are surely the most crooked owners of any football club ever, anywhere
You should read up on some of the things that have gone on there - it makes Garry Gibson look like a saint
