If I remember rightly all four L1 clubs all got knocked out of the northern area section that night by the remaining 4 league 2 clubs

Leeds are 2 points behind with 2 games in hand (the games in hand being walsall and Tranmere) no worries here.

even if you do go up up, you is only gonna come straight back down or be a sheff wed type club fighting relegation battles season after season, while watching old games on beta max to remind you of when you were a big club.. rolfl

did anyone ever go into the Cricket Club at Burnley? They always seemed to be watching videos from 1975 when they were in the first division, with Leighton James running down the wing. Their fans never quite seemed to accept that they were in the 4th division, even though they ended up stuck there for quite a few years.
