he will have to make do with second place so far as I'm concerned because there is no way on this Earth his continued selection can be justified - purely on the basis that he is behind so many others at the club in terms of how good he is. That is a simple, cold hard fact

Watty Moore, from what I was told by my Dad and have read over the years, was a stalwart of the team throughout his time. Obviously the game is completely different now with regard to substitutes and squads. It would be a marvellous accomplishment for RH to pass Watty's record, but it would be a hollow achievement if he was to become the new record holder by being picked in the team not solely on merit.

this is what really concerns me - the people running the club might just bend over backwards to ensure that happens - all the while the team is getting overrun in the centre of the park!!!!
The good of the club comes first and if he can't compete like he needs to, then he has to stop playing in this league full stop
