I thought he was outstanding today.

Jones too when he came on. A noticable difference when Humphreys went off. We stopped giving the ball away cheaply and the ball stayed in their half for most of the last half hour.

Finally, great to see the players having a few shots. Keep it up lads!

agree, for a defender i think his touch, vision and passing to feet is very good. Going to be a hell of a player

He's improved as the season has gone on which is exactly what you want of the young lad. He certainly doesn't lack passion.

it was his great shimmy and fast ball into Boydys feet that started the move for the 1st goal. Brilliant goal

the first goal was brilliantly worked and just shows what we can do when we play the ball on the deck.

what the game highlighted once again is that we CANNOT play with humps and gamble in the middle of a 4 man midfield. we have the makings of a very good side, but turner needs to start picking our best players.

fingers crossed, the team that ended the game had a very good balance about it

Hartleys passing is the one part of his game which lets him down. Dont get me wrong, I think he is alright, decent defensivley, can cross a ball well, can shoot too but his distribution shows why he is league 1 and not higher.

the reason why he is league 1 and not higher is he wanted to play games and wasn't getting them at Sunderland. His hometown team enquired and got him.

He wont be at league one level for long if he keeps improving. He is very comfortable with the ball at his feet (for a defender anyway)
