I'm posting on our lasses Laptop at the moment and I fecking hate using them!!!! banghead

My Computer decided to start going divvy at Tea-Time.....my Windows Security stuff went fecking mental and said I had to register for the 2010 version and then wouldn't let me log onto the Internet!!!! banghead

I tried to do a system restore and that wouldn't work at all....the same goes for all my other programs....even media player!!!! banghead

So feck knows what's wrong with it....and god knows when I'll sort it!!!! sadx

So bye for now and hopefully when I'm back we'll have a new/proper Manager!!!! :grin:

I'm surprised my pc hasn't fu-cked up as I've had it about 6 years now!!!

actually it has before but I put a new hard disk in.
Fortunately I keep all my personal stuff backed up on a separate disk
I'm just waiting for other things to fuck up such as the mother board which will mean buying a new system anyway

It sounds like a virus I had on my PC a week or 2 back, it's a phissing scam to get you to enter your credit card details to upgrade security. It's a proper git to get rid of though.You need to goto http://www.bleepingcomputer.comto download the virus and spyware removal Malwarebytes' and to download their anti malware. Go to the site and print off the instructions to follow. Takes a couple of hours to complete.

Its actually malware, what you have mutley, spybot should get rid of it, it did for me, failing that have a look for combofix!
