Cheap train tickets are now available from darlow to London on the 7th April from £9.80 each way.

Im already sorted,Im going on the friday & staying overnight,returning on the 19:15 from kings cross.
Lightning Tree has a ticket for the 07:30 from Darlo returning on the 19:15 from Kings Cross

Click where it says 2 singles could be cheaper & you'll get the 7:30 from Darlo for £9.80 & the 19:15 return for £24.50,or at least you would have yesterday

There are no £9.80 ones left on the 7.30 or the 8am train but there are some on the 8.21am train which gets you to Kings Cross 14 minutes after the 8 o clock one. Otherwise it is £17.80 for the outward journey ticket.
