Pope Benny has been shouting his mouth of again about Uk equality bill and fact of gay rights.

"Pope Benedict XVI said the bill - which could end the right of the Church to ban gay people from senior positions - "violates natural law". "

Tell you what violates natural law not having a wife or living without sex in their big houses spouting this crap.

I'm confused as well.
Mind you he is getting the publicity for his forthcoming visit, which may be his ulterior motive.
He will then claim that his thoughts have been misinterpreted.
Classic propaganda move....................he was a member of the Hitler Jugend was he not.

Surely a pope ought to believe that God has made some people gay for a reason? Unless he's suggesting that God made a mistake this time. confised

No, God makes good straight people.

Gayness is the devil's work.

These doctrinal questions are far from easy.
I found a half-price box of Quality Street in Tesco to-day. God or devil?

Apparently gays can be employed by the Catholic church provided they don't tell anyone they're gay, or bum men.

I remember when 'outing' meant a day trip.

When the Catholic Church deems a priest should take a vow of celibacy, they would expect them to abide by this rule whether it be one way or the other, full stop.

I've mentioned this before, but I'm sure that this board has a disproportionate number of Catholics among the regular posters.

I've always had a bit of a morbid curiosity about Catholicism, given that my Grandad renounced it to marry my Protestant Gran, only to embrace it again when she died.

It's not possible to renounce being a left footer, you're either a Catholic or a lapsed Catholic but you're still a Catholic of whatever sort.

Our kid, like, he doesn't qualify cos he was Christened in Stranton Church.

It's nowt to do with religion like, the Catholic Church and the rest of them for that matter, is a very powerful political organisation.

Could it be that the Catholics support Pools ( bringing them to Poolie messageboards) whereas the Protestants support the big three and others.
Probably why the club are signing so many Irishmen. bbolt

Enjoyed your company on Saturday Mr PIN.
Our lass said we should write a book !!!!!!!!!!!!.
