Seeing as it's Burns Night our lass has come over all patriotic, and did us an ellish tea.

Haggis, taties and swede/carrots. And there's loads left over to make haggis/potato fritters for tomorrow's tea!

As I'm typing this I'm enjoying a wee dram, and in a bit I'm going to have a good look at her sporran.

We had haggis, taties and neeps for tea tonight. Along with a tot of Whiskey. Not a lot of the bottle of Grouse left as I type this, so excuse any errors.

burns night not the same without the late great john peel broadcasting from his house with the likes of belle and sebastian or the mighty camera obscura providing the music.

indeed the last obscura burns night was quite quite marvellous. their rendition of cock up yr beaver was an aural delight.

That was first thought on learning it was Burns night. Being vegetarians (John & Sheila) they used to get vegetarian Haggis.

Good question, which we did ask ourselves, just to keep you happy we will start eating it every Thursday.

Also why do we only eat pancakes once a year?
