So it's all gloom and despondency. What do we do?? Sulk?? Demand rolling heads?? Pack in?? Compare reasons for packing in?? Exceed each other in our disgust?? Find new heights of superlative in our disgust?? Find new reasons for stopping support??

To be honest, at the moment, I'd rather read Womens Realm (particularly the problem page, ooo---eerr :uhoh: the mucky melts) if they still print it, but I think everyone has got the message so saying the same things over and over again is quite pointless, uninteresting, and as a Celtic supporter pointed out to me over the weekend, gives the opposition fans the upper hand. Obviously he's in hospital now, not because I paggered him, but, he's got a right inguinal hernia, not unlike Ben Clark's. I just wished it on him and our rass is a witch.

You get what you're given when you support Pools, always did, always will do. The Internet changes nothing at the Club. It just gives you endless opportunities to express your feelings at the time.

You can wear your heart on your sleeve or you can give the oppo the impression that they're going to get battered in the next game. Bugger what the club says, much as you don't like it, you aren't the club. If you turn on the club publicly, you're giving the opposition as much ammunition as you allege the club is.

Your choice.

I find the personal abuse towards Turner rather sickening.

I agree he doesn't deserve personal abuse, not at all but with some of the comments he is making he's not helping himself.

I don't want Chris Turner to become a figure of hate at the club, the way he's going he will be very soon.

It's all very sad indeed*

When that goal went in, I think a lot of people were expecting the tirade to begin.
Apart from a couple of numpties behind us on the Mill House terrace, who did nothing but pillory Denis Behan all night*, the mood was certainly not one of negativity.

*Just what exactly the fook were these whankstains hoping to achieve?
a) Behan was by far not the worst offender out there
b) If you were playing, how would such abuse make you feel about your own fans?

It's NOT needed.

I think the general mood in the ground was total apathy. Even at the final whistle, no boos, no applause everyone just went home.

That is even worse than negativity!

I never said it it did. I said writing endless tomes of the same old comments on page after page of the board isn't helping anyone except the opposition..........

.........and you don't have to be there to notice or comment on that. Well done on going and applauding, but the minute you get home you loose a stream of invective on here. Does that give you two faces?? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

i actually disagree massivly, i find the attitude towards turner is very rare, i've lost count of the amount of people who have said nice guy, appreciate what he done in the past, but please just walk away.

I think thats summit you rarely find at football clubs this days.

Nobody is loosing a stream of invective.
We are all concerned about the direction the club is heading or, to put it another way, the direction Turner is steering us.
The fact that the majority of people, who actually attend and are virtually singing from the same hymn sheet, and are responsible for the same old comments, ought to tell you something. We are virtually as one over this issue and are trying to do something about it. Over ninety per cent of the Pools fans that I speak to are convinced we are going down. There is a fair reflection of that on this board.
Are we all wrong?????
When people try to get behind the team at the Vic and then come home, thoroughly dejected by what they have witnessed, and THEN vent their frustrations on here, is that what you mean by two faced or loosing invective????
The only person talking us down and the opposition up is Turner......is THAT not coming across??????...like.
We are in desperate need of change...........is THAT not coming across??????????....like.
You're having a go at the wrong people my friend.

Loosing as in releasing mate. Referring to the loose of invective mentioned in Mr Spender's post.
