Lets look at the stats. he's started 8 games and scored 3 goals, Behan has scored 5(1 pen) in 20 starts, nobody can tell me Denis does much more in a game than Armann does yet look who gets made the scapegoat! Tonight Behan was awful at best, not one effort at goal and nearly every lay off was to nobody, yet i guarantee he will start the next game. If Bjornsson had played that bad tonight he would have been dragged off after 39 mins of the game. Whats with all the favourites turner has, can play bloody shocking yet always get there game!

A few ratings

Flinders 6, nowt to do really as Gills were that bad
Austin 8, at least he signed one quality player
Hartley 6, didnt do much wrong but still looks a bit uncomfortable going forward
Collins 7, won most his headers and was steady
Liddle 6, quite quiet but wasnt really tested
Sweeney 6, for effort an 8 but sadly lacks the quality
Humphreys 6, again didnt really do much wrong but lacks a cutting edge
Gamble 7, good passer and very tenacious
Larkin 6, again full of effort but lacks quality, simply not up to this level
Monkey 6, ok 1st half but very quiet 2nd
Behan 3, i want him to do well as he seems a good lad but he doesnt really offer anything, no pace, doesnt shoot, doesnt win headers, doesnt chase and cant lay ball off!

Jones 7, positive and i cant believe he doesnt get a game
Boyd 6, couple of flicks but looks off the pace

We are conceding a lot of goals at present but i dont blame the back 4, we arent making or taking chances and that puts more and more pressure on the back 4, this is football, your always likely to concede a goal at some point, the pressure needs to be eased by somebody having the balls to take a shot now and again and put the ball in the bloody net! In the lat 4 games i think we have mustered up no more than 8 or 9 shots which is shocking. Im starting to get very down about the whole situation and it doesnt seem to be getting any better, the crowds are getting embarrasing now and they wont improve until Turner gets the sack or finally admits he is not up to the job. He's a nice guy CT but he certainly is way out of his depth and is soon going to become a hate figure which i wouldnt like to see happen as he means well. People would have a lot more respect for him if he just stepped aside. A very very very down poolie!

Bjornsson would be more suited to 4-5-1 as he'd bring the ball down and bring other others into play. Behan was actually dropping off tonight when he was up front on his own!!

Saying that he looks a poor signing and not the answer like many of Turners imports doesn't he?

What are Thomas Tennebo and Tim Sperravik up to these days?

At least Bjornsson looks like he has a bit of quality about him, given a run in the team with someone nippy alongside him im sure he'd be a good player for us! I dont like that 4 5 1 lark, we dont have the players to pull that off

To play 4-5-1 you need midfielders who are going to get forward, and the midfield all season hasn't had a clue. Offering nothing for the forwards and not doing much defensively either, just milling around mostly. Gamble is clearly going to be a good signing but if the rest of the midfield don't know what they're doing he's going to look almost as bad as them. It's like their pre-match instructions are just "you're playing in the middle area of the pitch, best of luck"

If Bjornn gets the ball to his feet, he would be great in that role. Sadly we pass it to his head.
