lots of possession, not enough chances. Not enough tempo, not enough pace up front. Behan was twice one on one and managed to get tackled because of his lack of pace. I thought gamble played very well but faded.

Was pleased to see Austin score. He's been our best player for much of the season.

The free kick at the end of the first half was pap. But its the fannying about at the corner that does my heed in. The ball eventually gets hammered into the box anyway so why not take it directly when you have a free kick of the ball? Baffling.

Just for you Tree.

There was only one team in it for around 90% of the game We had four or five really good opportunities and played some good football; we should really have gone in one or two up at half time. The second half started a little scrappily and then they put a great cross in to the box and got their goal - but we bounced back. We pushed them to the end to try and get the winner; things aren't obviously going well in front of goal for us but we're creating chances and we have to keep doing that. Everyone wants us to win and sometimes it doesn't happen but I'm sure we'll keep persevering.

Astonishing!

The thing is Austin's goal was as uncomplicated as they come. Carried the ball forward, took a shot, scored. It wasn't exactly the most rasping of drives either. Sadly I think it was pretty much the only time we tested his abilities with a long range shot.

Starting to feel quite glum now sadx

We either played quite pretty football (mostly first half) or fucking long ball shite (part of the first half/all of the second half). My old man came along with me for the first time in years and couldn't believe what he was watching. What use is punting long balls at two 6ft + defenders who look dodgy every time the ball comes near them on the floor? Behan was isolated for most of the game - all well and good getting the ball to him but he needs some support. Just crap basically.

should have been 3 points in the bag ....2 points dropped rather than 1 gained

Not looking forward to CT talking up our next few matches against the so called big boys of league one, he'll have spread his negativity throughout the team before we next kick a ball

Oh and i don't think I've seen this as yet but just got to say ref was shite tonight

If anyone needed confirmation that we are going down that was it tonight. How slow are we on the uptake, this fannying about at corners and free-kicks which has'nt worked all season, but still we persist. Richie H. how can he start a game, the man moves slower than the transporter bridge ffs.
I was'nt going tonight but in the end relented, what a mistake. If we make another 10 pts before the end of the season I'll fry my testicles in Lurpak......absolute sh.te.

We'll be playing in front of 1500 shortly serving up this bollocks.
