I thought the first half was encouraging. Although there wasn't a huge number of shots I thought we controlled the ball well and there were one or two definite chances that we simply needed to take. Similarly the second half began ok and we should have taken the lead minutes before they scored. Instead our player (I couldn't see who it was from where I was at) found their keeper with a free header from 6 yards out. I've been an advocate of the 4-5-1 formation this week and despite the fact that I thought it worked ok ish in the first half I accept that things needed changing for the second as more urgency was required. Unsurprisingly, Turner thought differently. As PoolieTim says it was a terrible goal to concede and I'm surprised we even managed to get back on level terms.

I'm not feeling particularly annoyed. I think I'm slowly starting to accept our fate.
