Leonard Cohen.

I've got him on suicide watch.

Ive seen Leonard Cohen 3 times in 2008 & I can promise you that all 3 shows were outstanding. The man is pure quality.
By far the greatest performance Ive seen at Glastonbury in my 17 visits.

This was what David was listening to.

It is a superb song, maybe I should forget the stereotype view of his songs as a backdrop to ending your life, and encompass their beauty instead!

Superb
It really was amazing,Glastonbury pyramid field packed full of people who were just totally awestruck & spellbound for around 2 hours.I have never seen a Glastonbury audience so quiet

Also, he's done some of the best poetry of the century, for me. (only for me!)

I think one of the reasons he's so good, is that this is his philosophy:
(From 'The Book of Longing')

Layton's Question.

Always after I tell him
what I intend to do next,
Layton solemnly inquires:
Leonard, are you sure
you're doing the wrong thing?
