So tomorrow at 1 pm my train leaves for London.
Tickets are paid,no refund available.Hotel paid,no refund available.
Im hoping the train is cancelled & at least then I get a refund on my train fare

I was thinking if I dont go then the moneys wasted, but,If I do go I'll spend feck knows how long on the train feck knows how much on food & drink, then be stuck in London from Saturday lunchtime till 7:30pm when my train returns to Darlo, probably with delays & arsing about & ending up with a taxi fare from Darlo back home.

If I stop at home at least I wont spend a good chunk of 2 days sat on a train, uncomfortable, freezing cold & bored.

Can't you avertise/sell it on the internet as a trip to Lapland, after all the people who travel there proceed through hours of snow filled fields and then when they arrive there's basically nothing there to see, same as a trip presently to London I suppose.

True,& if I was already there I wouldnt be bothered, just seems daft making the effort doing a journey I dont want to when theres nothing at the other end.

If it's already all bought and paid for take the opportunity for a day out in London, it'd seem silly not to and the chances of delays on the trains are supposedly minimal as we're led to believe that public transport is the future.

Hope it helps

I am ment to be going shooting on the 22nd to Loch Levern, been told that all shooting is off until further notice because of the snow up there and geese cant feed, that wouldnt bother me at the moment as early in the month however, after the ban is lifted the geese are given a week to rest and feed in this time no shooting again, so its cutting it a bit fine if the weather stays like it is up there until next week.
