Your going to the capital of our great country which 1000's of people pay lots of money to travel to from far away distant lands and all you can think of doing is going on the beer

Why dont you meet up with Mr Fireball and he can show you a cultured time, maybe take in a show or have a walk around a art gallery or something of that ilk

Charlton have said on their website that they will try and get a decision on the game on Thursday night, so if it is called off, then 'Pools won't need to travel down early on Friday morning.

That's an alternative, but in this weather getting about visiting places may be difficult, so sitting in a warm pub seems the better option, to me.

I can't see the game being on now given that forecast. From the Charlton groundsman's comments it would appear they haven't got undersoil heating so not only is the pitch likely to still be knackered when they decide tomorrow, the stands will be dodgy and also all around the ground will be bad.

I've just shifted my train tickets to pooliebri too. :uhoh:

lass im meeting on saturday night wants to go and see "the road" at the pictures. really unsure about the wisdom of this as i thought the book was great, and im sure the yanks will have made a complete and utter mess of the film. the hotel is booked and paid for so dunno why she cant just watch television in our room while im playing poker. bottom line is its pointless arguing with them, better to just let them get their own way.

sunday meeting a different lass who wants to see the kienholz exhibition at the national gallery. ive already seen this when it was on at the baltic last year but i wouldnt mind seeing it again. probably have a walk over to the south bank after that for a bite to eat. maybe have a quick look in tate modern, though ive already seen the pop life exhibition thats on there.

perhaps have a wander down the kings road and pop into the saatchi.

failing that will just go on the beer.

rag her up the shitter chip!

Correct.

If the game is off and only 3 end up going as I think could be the case then there will be a spare room going.

Gillingham is only 40 minutes down the road from Charlton and London.

Chip, provide a photo of you and these woman at any of the locations you've specified so a) I can actually begin to believe you b) we can assess these females looks. Please.

they are both in long term relationships so theres no way on gods earth im going to post photos of them on a fooking message board used by some of the biggest gobshytes and perverts in england.

the lass im seeing on the sunday is a lass i used to work with in thornton heath. i havent seen her since her days at uni in leeds. we are meeting up for a chat and a look at some art, and that is it. her looks are irrelevant to be honest.

given i lived in london for 15 years im amazed you find it so hard to believe i have stayed in touch with people down there. sctatchinghead
