It beats me why footballers feel they need agents in the first place. Why hand over large portions of your salary to some hanger-on to do something you could easily do yourself? It's not as if footballers are looking for gigs every five minutes and need someone to do the slog for them.

For the first time I actually agree with you why cant they do deals themselves with clubs, the should take into account they would probably get a better deal themselves if you take into account the money they would have to hand over to the agent
