Announced on the club web site that in the year 1st oct 2008 to 30 sept 2009 Pools paid nowt, zippo, sweet FA, and further more ziltch to the greedy, manipulative, player pimp fleecing the game Agents for any dealings and we have had a few in that time.

Well done Mr Hodcroft. Another example if it where needed of the benefits of having owners like IOR. Might frustrate us at times but i'd rather we had them than someone else and go back to Garry Gibson

It beats me why footballers feel they need agents in the first place. Why hand over large portions of your salary to some hanger-on to do something you could easily do yourself? It's not as if footballers are looking for gigs every five minutes and need someone to do the slog for them.

For the first time I actually agree with you  why cant they do deals themselves with clubs, the should take into account they would probably get a better deal themselves if you take into account the money they would have to hand over to the agent

Interesting that it's Wenger who doesn't mind agents....because he can afford the 'luxury' and doesn't have to suffer the exploitation? And because money means nothing when you're rich??
