And dont I know it people at work were winging about it when I got back from home, its nothing compaired to what was in the town over Christmas

I do wonder how many take notice of the news when they say do not drive unless your journey is essential and some take time off work because of that comment and end up getting sacked for the time off. sctatchinghead

What if the gritter driver took that advice. :shock:

There were reports from Leeds and near the Scottish Borders about the snow on the BBC News as well. :laugh:

The airports and the London Area only seem to get the most media attention because London is thought to be the world's financial centre.

I suspect London gets most media coverage because that's where the media live. :wink:

The airports get a lot of media as heathrow is the busiest in the world

But who grits the road for the gritters, it comes out of the back so he has to drive on the bad roads.

We have just had to drive back from Caterham in Surrey today, it's bad and worse than anything we've had here. Hope that helps.
