Just wanted to mention something RE Leeds supposedly getting everything their way as they are a big team etc etc.

Today vs Stockport we had another shocking Ref. He is the worst ive seen for a long time. Despite no real malice in the game from either side...he managed to book SEVEN Leeds players. The pick of the bunch was when (near the end) the Keeper was walking back to take a goal kick and I actually saw a Stockport Fan behind the goal lean over he adverttising, pick up an iceball (loads of blocks of ice all way round ground) and throw it at he keeper...smacking him right in the back of the head.

Stewards ran over and our keeer holds back of his head....ref runs in and books the keeper...........

I cant even begin to tell u what he other 6 bookings were for..(btw their first goal came from a free kick where our player interceted a pass and their player didnt even appeal.....he wasnt even touched but got a free kick on edge of the box.

I said it after our game on Boxing day and ill say it all day long...the Officials in this division are not fit for purpose.

Theref also ent off one of Stockports players in the 7th min of injury time...i didnt actually see what for as it was down the far corner and we were at pitch level...some1 said he punched a Leeds player but gawd knows.

Stats I've looked at show 5 Leeds players booked. Did you mean 7 in total from both sides, because Stockport had 2 booked?

So if it's 7, is that not an automatic fine for the club from the Football League.

Bradley Johnson was the 7th. He also dosnt show as booked but that was also right infront of us (the Stockport right back fell over).

Re the fine im not sure?

I would think if that is the case LEeds would at least contest the Ankergren booking (where the fan hit him wih an iceball thingy) Having said that, its the FA and they rnt exactly known for fairness and common sense eh?

The standard of refereeing is not brilliant BUT having seen Pools at Elland Road on three occasions I am convinced that the hapless officials are intimidated by the hostile home crowd. Otherwise why do all fifty fifty decions and many others go the way of the Champions of Europe? Although I wasn't there on Saturday I believe Mr Ilderton put in a performance that would shame the word"homer"

Referees dont have an easy job as it is. Its made worse by players trying to con them as well. If a home player goes down easily & you have a few thousand people shouting for a foul its going to sway your decision in some way. Sometimes however you get refs who want it to look like they arent influenced by a crowd & they end up making a bigger tit of themselves.

The treatment of Leeds Utd by the officials and the perceived 'injustices' you highlight are of no interest to me whatsoever. I don't care if the officials carry automatic weapons and eliminate Leeds players simply because they have an offensive hair style. I couldn't give a toss if the fourth official is a a trained sniper, taking out random Leeds players for a laugh. I don't care if the ref and Linesmen wear T shirts with the slogan..... 'We detest Leeds and will STOP YOU getting promoted cos we hate You!!!' and walk out with bundles of notes stuffed in their pockets with the words 'Bribed to beat Leeds' stamped across them in luminous ink ... You see, I just don't care, give a flying toss, a monkeys pull ...even a fig, about Leeds U f*****g nited and if your ground was to collapse as a result of a Yorkshire earthquake and your fan base took up crocheting in Rumania and deserted you I still wouldn't give it so much as a raised eyebrow. I had no interest in you when you were 'famous' for a brief period a long time ago, so my interest in the ramblings about your team have even less appeal now. I didn't care then and most definitely don't care now.

Aaaah BMG... the wifes true home ... and in view of this I have always chosen to act with discretion in my comments about this team as I like to sleep without looking over my shoulder and avoiding the knock on the door in the middle of the night from the remnants of the Geheime Staatspolizei she trained.
Therefore I can only say I've always been a fan and have no wish to stand out amongst the crowd and stray from the party line ..... er, and will conform with any diktats the club issue and I vill obey orders at all times.

But you were posting about a game between Leeds and Stockport, two teams we are not interested in, so Snowy's reply was quite acceptable as far as I can see.

Just felt it had relevence to the theory early this week that Leeds got everything their way....clearly not been the case this season.

Anyways...ill pack my bags.

BTW be interesting if Leeds do go up this year and then HUFC follow in the play offs. Will be no away fans at elland road on the day of the game according to this forum

Tata.

No effort to type at all, as for you finding it an effort to 'read'... you should really have stuck in with the remedial classes at school.
Just a thought, but if ALL the refs are as bad as each other in all the games, then logically, we have a level playing field that should make no difference whatsoever.
