Tylers kid (Liv Tyler) isn't his. Elvis Costello fathered her, you can spot it a mile off and he was shagging Bebe Buell at the right time. FACT.

I like "Toys In The Attic" but apart from that find them cringeworthy.

The story I heard was that she spent the early part of her life thinking Ted Nugent was her father

I havent got the book anymore, but Im sure it was Ted Nugent (Amboy Dukes),supposedly she was told that her dad was actually Steve Tyler at Johnny Thunders wake.

A brief look at wikipedia shows that my memory has gotten Ted confused with Todd,(although it is possible that the book I read got it wrong)

I'd say that's true for American punk - English punk has it's roots in the Pink Fairies, another band I know you like - there's rumour that Larry Wallis will get the Fairies back together next year - a couple of them recently got together to play a 1 off gig with the Deviants.
You're just a 'pre pop punk purveyor parmopooly'.
