Over the last few weeks there has been plenty of reason's why club and supporters think the crowd's are down what do you think the reason is.

Id say poor football and players with no bottle are both because Turner is manager.

Mixture of Turner being manager and poor football, im sure the recession plays a small part of the small crowds, although if people want to goto pools enough they would find money even during a recession

We've always had shit crowds, even when we were play offs in league one.
The play off semi with Tranmere didn't even sell out.
Neither did the cup game against West Ham.
Its this foooking town.
Full of wnankers who think the only football that exists is at the top of the premiershit.
Thats the only reason.

Id blame Sky & the Premiership for alot of the problems in the lower leagues, especially attendances.

As for our so called loyal fans, staying away because the bloke in charge isn't the man we want is hurting not just the club but the players themselves.
Its the same with Leeds. The lads need our support. Its boxing day, football day!!
Instead of sat in front of the box looking at old turkey get to leeds and support the lads.
If a fan can afford to go then get there and support the team.
The crowds this season are frankly embarrasing and another reason for the rest of the country to take the piss out of us.
Results will dictate the fate of turner, not the fans and i'm sure if they take a turn for the worse IOR will take appropriate action.

Look at saturdays crowds. I think we were at least 2000 behind the next lowest attendance.
Even foooking Exeter got 5 and a half thousand banghead

Rochdale are another club notorious for low crowds through their history.
Funnily enough their population is larger than ours.
Doesn't help living in the shadow of the two manchester clubs.

Totally agree with that. I am not buying this whole "boycott" because of the price excuse. I think most are not going because they reckon we'll get beat again and can't be bothered.

If my Girlfriend wouldn't throw me out for going down to Leeds on Boxing Day I would be down from Aberdeen like a shot.

Barking mad.

Should all thirteen clubs below us be sacking their managers too?

How many times in our history have we been capable of comfortably beating Millwall.

CT isn't glamorous. But he is competent.

If you want us to be above Charlton, Norwich, Leeds and Southampton on conference crowds then can I suggest playing the euromillions.

I'd bet that Lloyd Sam at Charlton earns as much as our first team added together.

If 11th in League One does not meet with your expectations - and bearing in mind that we have finished higher than that twice in the history of the club - then tell us what you would be happy with.

Is it not just down to apathy? In a way its no different to constantly finishing midtable in league 2, people get fed up with the same old stuff week in week out. You're bound to lose the gloryhunters as soon as you become inconsistant, then any excuse is a good excuse for them not to go.

it's nowt to do with the football or turner the only thing i can think that coincides with the fall in the crowd is the pies since they got them pukka pies the support has dwindled

Nope but the 3 clubs below us at the end of January should be.

The low attendances at Pools and other Lge's 1&2 clubs are in my opinion are down to the increasing saturation of Premshit Football on Sky tv and the insatiable GREED of the Premshit clubs, those coupled with moronic Parents who fall for all the hype and buy merchandise etc. for their sprogs from the Premshit. Most people of this ilk would'nt know what it is to be a REAL Foootball fan if it came up and smacked em in the gob, in fact a lot of em could do with a good smack in the gob in the hope it might knock some sense into them.
