Dont know if any of you live in the area or have kids who may cut through the Burn Valley on the way to school but just to make you all aware

The police took part in a manhunt after an incident reportedly took place in the Burn Valley this morning. A female student was attacked by a male adult. its reported that a number of incidents like this one have taken place recently and they are now informing all schools and colleges in Hartlepool to ensure that staff and students are vigilant if walking in that direction.

Over the last 2 years there has been to my knowledge 5 assaults in the Burn Valley so if you have family going through there go in groups or stay clear.

Probably nothing what so ever to do with it, but was in Oxford Road bout 1030-11ish and the Police were going heavy handed into a house there. The old door breaker being used, took 2 attempts to put a little pvc door in. I remember when I could do it in 1.

ring the police and tell them which house then.

He sounds innocently conspicuous to me...to be running into a house in a hoodie, in full view of a police helicopter. Unless he's a bit thick, like.

If totally innocent then he have nothing to worry about. A simple phone call is best, as they say better to be safe than sorry, make the call, he wont know it was you.

The Burn Valley is a pervert's paradise. I remember when I was at 6th Form, virtually every week a lass would get flashed at or there would be reports of someone tossing off in the bushes.

When I was about 5 my dad told me NEVER to go in any of the bogs.

What a town!
I'm just back from witnessing some sort of bust in the Asda car park.
A silver 05 Audi came tear-arsing round the corner and 4 Police vans were quickly on the scene.
5 likely lads in the car were promptly cuffed and put in individual Paddy wagons. Caused some tailbacks, but if it gets some more s4ite off the streets, then so be it. refred
