Agreed. . . . . . . . . He's a bit of a knob these days. He should spend less time trying to be young and funny. He was both of those in THE 60's, he can't do the same in HIS 60's.

I have 2 heart warming stories regarding Paul McCartney.

1. I know Pat Fairley who was in the Band Marmalade. They did a remake of ob-la-di ob-la-da, which was a hit for for them. McCartney made a ton of money from the royalties of the remake. To show his appreciation McCartney presented Fairley with a bottle of whiskey.

2. I know this Liverpool couple, they had received tickets and backstage passes to one of his shows. On being introduced to McCartney they told him that they also where from Liverpool. There statement was greeted with a blank face and a condescending retort of "so".
