I went in once.

Saw that they wanted about £12 for burger and chips and £20+ for steak so had a (very expensive) beer and fked off.

Hope that helps.

I went to Hornseys about two years ago and it was terrible. Service was appalling and food was even worse. It was a Friday night and meant I was late getting to the pub for the game, it coincided also with the last half decent game fans favourite Andy Monkhouse had.

Nothing wrong with the place, always had good service and you can get an Angus Burger and Fries for £3.99 so where on earth Rippers £12 came from I do not know. Plus it's run by Harold Hornseys Daughter. The Beer is the same price as The Shite House, but sadly no smug newly-weds/ Hartlepool Glitterati can bear to stand outside 'cos it's cold and their repressed nipples might stand out like Chapel Hat-Pegs causing minor erections amongst the Peroni-drinkers.

FACT.

Went there last weekend, the place is quality, food is no more expensive than anywhere else, but the portions are huge! its well worth a visit

As I said in my original post I went 2 years ago and it was terrible. Because 3 people have been since and enjoyed themselves since doesn't make my experience any better or worst, I am simply stating things as I have found them.

You fcking tit.

Whoaaa tiger. Dont bring me into your argument just because you dont knwo a good restuarant or a good player when you see one.

For the record, I have a love hate relationship with CT. As long as he picks the best available players, and doesnt make stupid substitutions, and say stupid things, I like him.

Its quite simple.

I don't remember writing any of that

I know this might shock you Mr Elvis as it is completely logical, but it came from their menu, a few months after the place opened. They'd kindly written the prices next to the food choices to help you know how much you'd have to pay.

If they've since reduced the prices cos they realised that they were the prime reason that there was no fker in there then fair play to them.
