clappp

IOR could let people in for free and they still wouldn't turn up because the food wasn't free, they weren't given a gobjob by a big titted bird and we hadn't managed to sign Rooney on a free

Anyway, letting them in for cock all hasn't helped any of the clubs that have done or will do it

Nah, not at 25 if you're young and single. When you're pushing 30 or over then that's a different matter!

I've not tried it.

But I don't suppose a pint of Peroni tastes any different in the White House to what it does anywhere else just because a few posing rarfs go in, I'm sure their is an element of rarfism in every pub. The White House is a ten minute walk from my house and near were a lot of my mates live so it's handy. I think it's alright not a patch on the Millhouse mind!

For fooks sake, you drink where you like and it doesn't make you any better or worse than the man you pass on the stagger home, as long as you don't batter him 'cos you're smashed on cheap drink.

The whole point is, people are losing the choice, not because people smell or young people like one sort of pub and older people like another. Compo, I ran a bar that you thought was ideal, you certainly got your trotters in the trough, and I was pleased to help you and if Yubep wasn't so skint he'd have been there as well but his dick is more important than his mates so he's babbed up.

It's not that people don't go in, it's that the council, brewery, and the government make it almost impossible to keep a pub open unless you own a free house. I have a friend with a very prosperous growing pub empire, because he buys the place and then makes the above agencies dance to his tune and throws a party for the old bill twice a year.

We might be older than youse two but we aren't stupid, and when Mr Parmo reads this he'll give you a business lesson. He got stripped.

Happy about that?? stpid stpid stpid

3. Pricks. You know, the old gimmers who think that they should still be going "down town" on a weekend. Going round town is for teenagers and people in their early 20s, mostly single folk going out on the pull. It isn't for people in their late 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s +, most of those who are in those age groups are married or the like too but still feel the need to tart themself up and go off slagging around town to see if they can get a shag behind 42 or wherever is popular nowadays. Especially baffling are the married ones who don't even go out together as a couple but instead take it in turns to go out with their mates. Brainless. Surely it's much more appealing for people to get a little bit more civilised as they get older, go to restaurants, music venues, local pubs, places where you don't have to shout or lip-read to have a conversation? But no, unfortunately there are too many brainless pricks about who are incapable of having a conversation so they go down town to wine bars and nightclubs instead meaning that places such as local pubs are closing down.

4. people go where there is loud music, so they dont have to suffer having a conversation with opinionated doyles who think they know everything about everything and god help anyone who thinks otherwise taz

I always maintain that if people would rather sit at home alone with a fag than go and sit in a smokeless pub with friends, they must be miserable old gits that the pub can well do without.

That was a gamble, for Burnley, a massive gamble and one the majority of clubs couldn't even consider.

The town doesn't get busy till 10 or 11pm these days so a lot of people these days drink in their local or at home to save a few quid and then go out later on.

I like having a drink in the White House, I'd quite happily go for a pint in the Woodcutter, I also like going down till the town still stupid o'clock. If that makes me a 'finger in the air wine drinker', 'smug' , a 'doyle', 'an opinionated doyle' then so be it but personally I like go anywhere for a drink that is clean, not full of smackheads and with my mates.

I'm going to the Whitey tomorrow for a few, feel free to join me.

It is a very nice pint though, I normally drink it stood outside speaking in a West Park accent.

No nearer the door is slightly more elevated thus better for looking down your nose at people.

I always thought the Grove was a cul-de-sac, on searching google maps I see it isn't. I know a Poolie who lives there, and he is only slightly pretentious.
