I heard there was a bit of toe to toe with Ben Clark and Ritchie Jones can anybody confirm it or poo poo it

I had a quite impressive poo-poo today and there was no Ben Clark in it. :grin:

Well beaten today, nobody impressed, well not for Pools anyway. Lincoln's no.4 Gilmour certainly did mind, totally ran the game, mind he was given the freedom of the park, get him signed up Turner. As for Ben & Jonesy, Ben called him a fanny for making no effort to tackle one of their players as they scored their second goal and Jonesy told him to welcome to the board, that was about it.

Well that was a waste of time.

I think 4-0 flattered them but they were easily the better team.

No-one played well for Pools, Rowell started to play in the second half and Jonesy was OK, the lad who came on in the second half at left back did well (especially considering he looked like he was 13) but otherwise they were all rubbish.

Greulich barely got a kick all game and the one chance he had he made a total mess of. He proved to me and well truly today that he isn't good enough to be playing for the first team. No question about his effort though but there was nothing else there.

Foley went on a couple of decent runs in the first half but didn't see the ball in the 2nd.

Fredriksen was rubbish. His confidence must be ridiculously low to go from playing really well against decent teams pre-season but can now barely get a kick against a Lincoln reserve team.

I thought Cherel looks like he could do a job at centre half (as strange as it may be given that we let in four goals) and was composed on the ball.

Clarky and Jonesy explained a few words when we went 2 down that the whole ground must have heard. Clarkly told him to 'put a fcking tackle in you fanny' and I think Jonesy then told him to 'piss off'. :laugh:

. Jonesy went off after about 75 mins so hopefully he'll be in on Saturday.

Their right winger Gordon caused us problems throughout before he got subbed, their first two goals came from his side. He got taken off and I'd be amazed if he didn't play for them on Saturday.
