Well just got back and i wish id never gone, it was blo0dy awful apart from the first 10 mins. I felt very sorry for our strikers as they had virtually no support or service all game. How we managed to score 2 goals is beyond me and if i was a carlisle player id be ashamed to have conceded 2 goals against us tonight!. The subs that Turner made tonight were beyond belief as well, how on gods name did we end that game with Monkey and Fookin Foley up front, it wasnt the front 2 that was the problem, it was the appalling service to them!. Some ratings

Flinders 5, looked a bit shaky but the weather didnt help him, should have prevented the 3rd goal
Austin 6, let Robson get around him too often but other than that was ok
Hartley 4, this lad is not a left back, his distribution was horrendous tonight and we need a real left back in there
Liddle 6, thought he did ok
Collins 5, worst ive seen him play this season
McSweeney 4, awful performance from a pretty awful player, gives nothing to the team at all!
Humphreys 4, very poor from him tonight, not one pass of note or telling contribution
Sweeney 4, usual invisible self, might as well have played with 10 men
Monkey 6, probably our MOM, best of a bad bunch really though, good finish
Boyd 5, starved of service as nothing came into his feet and every ball went flying over his head
Bjornsson 6, first 30 mins he was great when the ball was coming into his feet but then we started lumping it forward to him, i felt sorry for him with the service he was getting. Good for his confidence to get a goal though, more to come!

Foley 4, why!!!!!!!, how low can we get
Fredriksen 6, very positive when he came on, should have started if you ask me, did more in 20 mins than mcsweeney did all game!
Clark 5, turns like the titanic, i wouldnt be surprised if he started on sat in midfield, even though he clearly cant play there!

Turner 2, again he starts with wingers on the wrong side, players getting a start when they dont deserve one and god awful subs, he trys his best to anger the fans im sure. We made a very average side look way better than we were but we didnt deserve anything at all.
Mind you we could have had a pen in the last minute when the ball clearly hit there defenders hand, that would have been a get out of jail card moment. Well done to the other pools fans there, made a good bit noise, around 300 id say.

We are desperate for a new midfielder and a left back, and if im greedy a right winger too. Of course we cant get anyone in just now though so we need to make do with pap like Sweeney! Team for next game, god knows!
