terrible nightmare I've just had,

Turner is still in charge almost a year since becoming caretaker

We lose 3-2 to Carlisle

Robson scored what turned out to be the winning goal, from what was a cross

We could have had 2 penalties , one a blatant handball in the last few minutes, where the only thing between the linesman and the defender who handled it was grass

Foley came on as a sub

Then found out Brown was out injured for 12 weeks

Was it a nightmare............................................Please let it be.

In it we recall Mackay and have him and Foley as a strike force against Millwall on Saturday rolfl rolfl

It would be worse than a nightmare then

God it all happened , well apart from the last bit of recalling Mackay. If that happens ......where's the rope taz taz taz

I still don't believe that, I believe we will stay up, but it's time for a manager who can change things when needed tonight's subs proved Turner can't. 2 forwards subbed for 2 more forwards, when the forwards took off weren't really getting any service, so we needed to put players on who could give them it.

Sweeney I have liked for many a year, under Cooper he was outstanding, at this precise moment I wouldn't loan him out to Darlo. He performed better at right back last season than he has in any game this season in his so called best position.

Thank god Jones is back for Saturday.

think about the squad we had in 05/06. Only a useless twat could have relegated that squad but it happened. Scott did the spadework and it was finished off by Turner with Stephenson as the fall guy. Turner was taking training etc and organising it all back then, and allowed Stepho to be the fall guy.
He needs to be removed very soon in my opinion, because a poor manager will get any squad relegated

Even if Turner does bring in new players in January I doubt they'll be much kop, his record in the transfer market since January is pathetic. This time last year we needed desperately to strengthen the defence, instead he went and got Liam Henderson, Keigan Parker, Lewis Guy and such like. This year he'd probably go out and get a centre half, right back and a back up keeper.

thing is bob only a few weeks ago you were bigging things up and saying how we had already played most of the top sides etc etc.

we have now led and lost against huddersfield, southampton and carlisle. they are hardly world beaters.

fair play to you for not chucking the towel in, but if brown is out for 3 months i fear the worst.

we decided not to go about 4 o clock yesterday. the car has been playing up, the weather looked bad, and in all honesty im rapidly losing interest.

even the defence/goalkeeper are starting to look iffy.

saturday is a massive game for us now, as are the 2 following it.

ive already written off us picking up points in january and february unless we bring players in.

sad times. sadx

I wouldn't say I was bigging things up a few weeks ago, I did believe we could pick up points prior to the January/February games, but I believed we would get something from the game last night.

The problem I see is we're not really losing games on the pitch, if that makes sense, we're losing them from the dug-out, and I can't believe I'm saying that, as my philosophy has always been that once the team crosses that line they lose it not the manager.

We have lost Brown for 12 weeks, from what I know he has been missing training for a couple of days after games due to his knee swelling and being heavily packed in ice. Pools equivalent to Spurs's Ledley King and from many years ago Man U's McGrath.

Just after Behan's injury Turner was quoted as saying, he doesn't think that Brown and Boyd will be our strike force for the duration of the 6 weeks Behan is reported to be out. Reading between the lines that said to me he knew what was in the pipeline for Brown and that was an operation. he had 2 days (not a lot granted) to bring in a loan player up front. What did he do, nothing, were his hands tied by the budget meaning he couldn't bring anyone in or did or does he believe the forwards we have as back up are good enough for the forthcoming matches.

Maybe Bjornnson is the answer, his play in the first 20-25 was ok last night , the goal may do his confidence the world of good. But does anyone really believe Foley is the answer as back up coming off the bench.

Turner brought in 12 players for this season, players he said give us depth and who could all do a job if needed. Those player's may well be able to get us points, the problem is I don't believe the manager can get us them when we're up against it. 17 Points lost so far this season from games were we have led, that says it all really, yes the player's need to stand up more and grind out results when leading, they need to be stop being nice, they need to get in the face of the opposition they need to at times get in the face of the referee, last nights "penalty" is a prime example no one confronted either him or the linesman, yet if Carlisle fans (or any other fans) had all gone up in one as we did then the spot would have been pointed at, or some players would have been surrounding the referee.

Are we to nice because Turner is to nice , do we miss the cutting edge because it doesn't come down from the manager, I don't know the answer, but I do know that without leadership from the manager, then we will struggle. His like for like subs are reaching the point of a joke forwards off, forwards on, we could have had Rooney, Ronaldo, E'to, name any other world class forward you like, up front last night, we would still have been struggling to score. That was simply because the midfield were all only having average games (apart from Sweeney who was just S***e) We ended up with Clark in midfield ,I like him but he not a midfielder and he wont create you a scoring chance, we ended up with Foley up front ,that say's it all.

Those things happened because of the manager no one else. I don't have coaching badges,I've not played at a reasonable level but I believe at times I could out-think Turner from an opposition bench.

I'm not going to get into actually calling him , I have to much respect for what he did first time around to do that. But I believe it's time for him to go, as they say fall on his sword, let someone else take over, and if as many say's he loves the club, it's also time for him to move out altogether, as D.O.S many manager's will fear him looking over their shoulders.

All I ask is for him and KH to do the honourable thing and put in someone new.
