Anyone standing now has so much ammo against a labour candidate, it is untrue. The labour party are closing the hospital despite the Prime Minister insisting it would stay open. A ploy to get Iain Wright elected! It stinks, let em have it! rage rage

Well we need our Pooliepride candidates and fast...

Are we going to target only the Labour Wards (no pun intended) if we don't get enough volunteers??

That would seem to be the best idea

I would be up for it if I could, but for a number of reasons I can't

Will help in any other way

Open up to a wider market in the search for candidates, shouldn't have a problem if we aim to use a save our hospital policy prominently

The hospital issue is just another exercise in reducing us to a pathetic Teesside suburb, taking over where Cleveland left off. A bit like all this Tees Valley shit where we always lose out for the 'greater good' as one MP so patronisingly described it. We don't get cosulted anymore we get told what we're supposed to do ...it's a bit like the so called super tram that will not come to Hartlepool but but will connect all the other authorities in the Tees valley, amenities and jobs will be built around it and guess who'll lose out .... WE WILL. It's about time Hartlepool councillors asked what's best for the town and if there's nowt, forget about it, the other authorities do and get away with it......THIS IS INFURIATING. rage
In a few years time some smarmy suit will be telling us that it's silly having three teams in the Tees valley, so why not just have one super efficient, centralised team...we can call it ...er...Middlesbrough .... DON'T LAUGH...it was actually mooted when the Teesside Development Corporation built the Riverside for the borers ..it was suggested Pools could play there alternate weeks
